2014 Pennsylvania Parent Forum

 

The Parent Panel Advisory Council, in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs, is hosting the 2014 Pennsylvania Parent Forum, a free, day-long informational event for parents. Topics included in the event are signs and symptoms of substance abuse, how to motivate your son or daughter to get help, stigma, and how to best access help/treatment when needed. The forum will also include a presentation by members of the Parent Panel Advisory Council regarding their activities and accomplishments. The Forum is scheduled for Friday, November 7, 2014, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg–Hershey, 604 Station Road, Grantville, Pennsylvania. Doors open at 8:15 am.
