On December 15, 2009, Dainette Mintz, Director of the Office of Supportive Housing in Philadelphia, gave a $1 donation to receive the first ever copy of One Step Away hot off the presses. Little did we know, that would be the start of something tremendous: Philadelphia's first and only street paper One Step Away. The past 5 years have been quite a journey. It hasn't always been an easy ride, but it has constantly been amazing.
