Computer Scams

FYI… Please be vigilant and watch out for scams.

  

With this holiday season gaining steam,   please be vigilante in scanning your email for any unsolicited ones or phishing ones.   They may inform you that an “Costco Status”, “FedEx Status”, “account has been disable”, ”your transfer was stopped”, ” a package has arrived”, or “you won prize”.      These emails could arrive from a friend, company or an associate.  They may look genuine, but 99% of the time they are not. 

 If you find these emails in your mailbox, please do not open any attachments or click on any links. Contact your IT department so they can be looked at.   We have an email filter but spammers are always using new tricks to bypass these devices.  

On your home computer, just hit Delete.
