Executive Director
Job Description
|
|
Purpose: Support
and advance the mission of LBFE , work
closely and openly with the Board of Directors, staff, donors, volunteers, funding sources and the
community at large.
|
Duties:
Responsible for fiscal stability, in adherence to the
Board approved budget, acquiescence with funding sources requirements and
required reporting.
Oversight responsibility for the office, all staff,
program development, and volunteers.
Responsible for all public relations to include press
coverage and awareness of LBFE.
All fundraising activities including grants (research,
writing and reporting), mailings (solicitations and appeals), as well as the
cultivation and implementation of new approaches.
Advocacy for the elderly.
Maintain and seek new avenues for the greatest efficiency
of computer systems as well as all machinery in the office.
Cultivate and maintain on-going relationships with donors,
sponsors, the Board, LBFE Network, elders and volunteers.
Development and implementation of new strategic alliances
to increase the viability of LBFE as well as brand strength in the service
area.
Daily and monthly reporting.
Serve as an ambassador for LBFE.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Human Services field with a
minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
