Program Coordinator
Job Description
|

Purpose: Support
and advance the mission of LBFE while assisting volunteers and isolated
elders in Philadelphia County.
|
Duties:
Responsible for all outreach and advocacy serving isolated
underserved elders in Philadelphia.
Coordination and implementation of intergenerational
events, friendly visiting programs, telephone reassurance program for
volunteers and elders, and annual holiday visitation programs.
Oversight of all volunteer recruitment and screening
process.
Assessment and screening of all elders
Make appropriate referrals to community organizations on
behalf of elders, when necessary.
Maintain on-going relationships with elders and
volunteers.
Screen, train and supervise college (Undergraduate and
Graduate) level interns.
Daily and monthly reporting.
Serve as an ambassador for LBFE.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Social
Work or Human Services with 4-5 years of relevant experience. Bilingual (Spanish / English)
preferred. MS-Office proficient.
