Nestled in the heart of Center City, just steps away from Rittenhouse Square, The Adrienne has been home to many organizations over the years and serves as the cornerstone for the 2000 block of Sansom Street.
Named for the beloved theatre professional Adrienne Neye, The Adrienne is home to a number of cultural organizations, performance spaces and studios. InterAct Theatre Company performs on the mainstage, a wonderfully intimate 106-seat theatre, fully equipped with state-of-the-art theatrical lighting and sound. Every seat in the house provides a good view of the stage and a close relationship with the performances, making it one of the most cherished theatrical venues in the region.
Between September and June, the theatre is alive with mainstage performances, readings of new plays and short works of fiction, fundraising events, and auditions. The venue is made available to other professional theatres when InterAct is in hiatus. For information about renting one of the Adrienne’s spaces for your performing arts group, contact General Manager Daniel X. Guy at dguy@interacttheatre.org.
