Financial resource through DHS' Family and Community Support Center, formerly Community-Based Prevention Services.
For families to meet the eligibility criteria, there
must not be an open case with DHS. Therefore, families that need assistance
with summer camp registration fee ($50); uniform assistance because child has
changedschools in mid-year, or assistance with utility bills because
a parent/caregive recently became unemployed, etc. The family when contacted, must
also state a plan to ensure their financial resources would be stable. These
funds are limited through June 30, 2013.

- Answer questions and provide information about Prevention services designed to meet the needs of at-risk families
- Clarify policies, procedures and standards for DCBPS programs and services
- Provide access to a wide range of DCBPS and other Prevention services, which
