Community Health Fair - May 29

Community health fair on May 29 I am inviting area residents to my community health fair, which will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29 at the Watkins Senior Center, 326 Watkins Ave., Upper Darby. My community health fair is a perfect opportunity for residents of the 164th Legislative District to receive free screening tests – and get lots of health questions answered -- by making just one visit. There will be information available on how the Affordable Care Act affects you, and the next steps for those who signed up or are planning to sign up for health care through the federal marketplace.   In addition to help with the Affordable Care Act, the health fair will include: • Free health screenings • Information on health care and giveaways from state and county agencies • Healthcare providers, pharmacists, representatives from area hospitals, Medicare and the Affordable Care Act experts while be on hand to answer your questions • Door prizes and free refreshments, plus • FREE notary service on site For more information about the health fair, please call Andrea Mathias at 610-259-7016 or e-mail amathias@pahouse.net.
