About the Presenter:
Katie Kenyon is the Outreach & Education Manager with Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County, Inc. She has been with DAP since 2006 but has been working in the domestic violence field since 1998 working in both direct victim services and violence prevention. In her current role, Katie coordinates programming to a variety of audiences including; youth, teachers and school personnel, campus communities, employers and human resources, faith based communities and health-care providers. In 2010 and with support from Widener University's Center for Violence Prevention, Katie authored a 2 part curriculum to assist Delaware County teachers to incorporate dating violence prevention into Middle School health classes. Katie holds a B.A. in Near Eastern Languages and Culture from Indiana University, Bloomington.
