Program Coordinator
Part Time Position

Family and Community Service of Delaware County (FCS) seeks a part-time Program Coordinator for the Strengthening Families Program for parents and youth 10-14.  This position is a 3/5’s time (21 hours per week) position; flexibility in hours will be required to fulfill the requirements of this role.
The role of the Coordinator is to provide direct services, coordination and supervision of hourly employees, oversight and data collection for the implementation of the SFP 10-14 Program. SFP 10-14 is a program for families with children between the ages of 10-14 that empowers parents and children with a skill set that increases the protective factors and reduces the risk factors, and results in demonstrated positive outcomes for preventing children from becoming involved with alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, and with violence and delinquent behavior. This is an evidence-based, universal model that has a proven positive impact for all families.
Program Coordinator Responsibilities:
•       Complete a 3-day SFP 10-14 training prior to initiation of services
•       Coordinate meeting space for 21 sessions per year
•       Monitor minimum of 6 sessions per cycle (18 per year), and document outcomes
•       Collect and complete data input for pre- and post-test surveys for parents and youth
•       Insure program integrity, and fidelity to model, by observing and coaching facilitators
•       Attend “Back to School” Nights in William Penn School District schools to provide information                about the program
•       Attend other appropriate community activities
•       Liaison with William Penn School District Social Workers and Counselors
•       Community outreach, marketing, and participant recruitment
•       Assist with Facilitator Recruitment
•       Manage program implementation (21 program sessions a year)


Qualifications:
·       Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related human services discipline from an accredited university.
·       Experience in providing psycho-educational services to groups of children, adults and families is preferred.
·       Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle.
·       Salary range information will be provided to interested applicants.
·       Benefits will be provided on a prorated basis.
