Pathways to Housing PA, as originators of the Housing First model, seeks
to transform individual lives by ending homelessness and supporting recovery
for those with psychiatric disabilities. We believe that housing is a basic
human right, and aspire to change the practice of homeless services by;
providing immediate access to permanent independent apartments, without
preconditions and setting the standard for services driven by consumer choice
that support recovery and community integration.

Finance Director
Reporting to the Executive
Director, the Finance Director is responsible for the agency’s financial plans
and policies, its accounting practices, the conduct of its relationships with
lending institutions and the financial community, the maintenance of its fiscal
records, and the preparation of financial reports for Management and/or the
Board. The Director will continue to build
and manage effective and streamlined administrative and financial systems. Minimum of 5 years financial leadership
experience and Master’s degree or CPA required.
Assistant Team Leader - Team 1
The Assistant Team Leader (ATL)
is a member of the
modified Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team who provides flexible,
community based services that are designed to promote the stability, recovery
and community integration of formerly homeless individuals who have a mental
illness and may abuse substances. The
Assistant Team Leader, in collaboration
with the team, coordinates and provides services for all clients on the team in
a compassionate and responsible manner. The ATL is required to assume
leadership and fulfill all functions and responsibilities of the Team Leader in
his/her absence. Master’s degree
required.
RN/Service Coordinator - Team 4
The Registered Nurse/Service
Coordinator is an integral part of the modified Assertive Community Treatment
(ACT) Team, who provides flexible, community based nursing services designed to
promote stability, recovery and community integration of formerly homeless
individuals who have a mental illness and abuse substances. Responsibilities are implemented within the
framework of agency policy, professional ethics, legal scope of practice and
regulatory guidelines. RN & BSN
required.
Accountant (1
position)
The Accountant is; responsible for assisting with routine and ad-hoc accounting
activities for the accounting department; a primary financial contact
regarding client accounting operations to management such as Team Leaders and
the Housing Department; maintains the
daily activities, including but not limited to, processing representative payee
client payments, accounts payable for clients/operating, bank deposits, booking
daily deposits and reporting activities, review of contract applications if needed, responsible for ensuring a timely and accurate reporting
for month end close and miscellaneous projects. Additionally, the Accountant possesses willingness
to research and resolve accounting issues for one or more entity. Bachelor’s degree required.
Community Integration Coordinator - Team 4
The Community Integration Coordinator works with the teams to manage
client benefit applications, provide team support and coordinate and attend
meaningful daytime activity for program participants. The Team 4 CIC works in tandem across teams
to manage the coordination of Philadelphia Housing Authority Vouchers (whether
Blueprint, Safe Haven or VASH) for new clients coming in and for current
clients who can “flip” from a HUD Subsidy and SSVF VA Benefits. Some college
preferred.
Certified Peer Specialist (full or part-time) 2 positions – Team 3
& 4
The Certified Peer Specialist is a member of the modified
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team who provides flexible, community based
services that are designed to promote the stability, recovery and community
integration of formerly homeless individuals who have a mental illness and may
abuse substances. The CPS works with individuals in their community
environment assisting them in their recovery through self disclosure,
instilling a sense of hope, encouragement, and vision in the future. The CPS
assists clients to: better understand their mental illness; promote
self-advocacy; develop interpersonal skills and social support/networks;
reinforce budgeting skills to allow greater independence in management of
funds; develop leisure and recreational activity planning skills; integrate
with self-help support groups and other community avenues toward advancing
their personal recovery objectives.
Prefer a Veteran for the Team 4 position.
