The Number of Caregivers Continues to Grow!
Two out of every 5 adult Americans are family caregivers! According to new survey by the Pew Research Center, 39% of the adult U.S. population are now family caregivers – up from 30% in 2010. Interestingly, men are now almost as likely to say they are family caregivers as women are (37% of men; 40% of women). The survey also shows that caregivers use online technology to navigate health care much more often than non-caregivers do.
