WHAT: Criminal Record Expungement Clinic
WHERE: PEC's Rowan House, 325 N. 39th Street
WHEN: Saturday, February 22nd, 12pm-2pm
The Criminal Record Expungement Clinic is a free direct legal service program provided by the Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity to help low-income residents file expungement petitions to clear their criminal records. PLSE handles expungement cases through all stages of the process, including advising clients, preparing and filing petitions, and reresepnting clients before the court. What is KEYSPOT?
In the digital age, a computer and Internet access is a necessity, yet 41% of Philadelphians do not have access. Formed to tackle this problem, KEYSPOT represents a citywide coalition of community-based groups committed to bringing Internet access, training and technology to all Philadelphia communities. The KEYSPOT Network is managed by The Mayor's Commission on Literacy, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia in partnership with Drexel University.
Who is it for?
You! Free computer use, Internet access and training are offered to anyone and everyone!
When can I start?
Anytime! KEYSPOTS and Training Programs started popping up around town in the Summer of 2011 and are still running today.
Where can I find a location?
Trainings are offered at more than 70 KEYSPOTS, primarily in North, South and West Philadelphia neighborhoods. Use the KEYSPOT Finder to locate training near you.
