See job description below: Manager, Staffing & Human ResourcesWHYY seeks an experienced human resources professional for this fulltime position. The Manager, Staffing and Human Resources plans and implements recruiting strategies to attract and hire qualified talent and works with the Director of Human Resources to ensure regulatory compliance, maintain "Best Practice" policies, and develop and direct other human resource activities. Major duties of this position include managing all aspects of the recruitment process from initial approval to new employee orientation. Other duties include: maintaining and updating HRIS system as needed; developing and maintaining systems that capture department and senior management information needs; and scheduling and conducting new employee orientation, overseeing completion of all necessary paperwork and submitting forms to payroll. The incumbent will have previous experience/exposure to conducting wage surveys, providing high level administrative support on key projects; and developing and recommending changes to policies, practices and procedures as necessary. This position requires a minimum of five years of professional human resources experienceo, preferably as a generalist, with at least two years of experience in life cycle recruiting. A bachelor's degree in human resources, business management or a related field, or the equivalent professional experience is required; PHR certification preferred. All candidates must have experience working with HRIS and applicant tracking systems, have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs, and familiarity with Powerpoint and organizational chart programs. Candidates should also have well developed written and oral communication skills, organizational skills and previous experience with reconciling and forecasting departmental budgets.
